Aston Martin Coal Scuttle 1915

Aston Martin Coal Scuttle (1915) In 1913, Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford decided to modify and sell Singer cars. Choosing to create a hill climb special to compete at the famous Aston Hill, they combined the course name with Martin’s surname for their new company. This, their first car, appeared in 1915 and was called the Coal Scuttle.
